Bring your funkiest Christmas sweater, leggings, socks or all of the above for a fun 75 minute all levels yoga flow. Afterward we will enjoy a free medium hot beverage from Cactus Creek Coffee while we hand out prizes from local businesses. A 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winner will be chosen.

The approaching holiday season can be a stressful time. Meditation and mindfulness practices can help you stay present, grounded, and frankly, sane.

Have you been curious about meditation and mindfulness, but you’re not really sure where to begin?

This workshop will provide you with the foundation to develop a meditation and mindfulness practice.

Here are some of the benefits that can result from meditation and mindfulness:
• Relieve stress
• Improve sleep
• Boost the immune system
• Improve focus
• Mitigate age-related cognitive decline
• Mitigate depression
• Find joy in the present moment rather than overthinking the past or worrying about the future

During our two hours together, we will:
• Define meditation and mindfulness
• Examine research on the benefits of meditation and mindfulness
• Practice meditation and mindfulness
• Address how to overcome challenges that arise when developing a meditation practice

A resource packet will be provided to all participants so you walk away with a reference tool. Wear comfortable clothes, including something cozy, and come as you are!
